Also, idk about you, but i use 93 octane. Trust me, using a good branded gas goes far too. And its not much more than your mom n pops station. What your gonna spend a little over a $1 for the best gas? I preferably use Shell gasses. Like i said i use 93 octane esp because i have superchips installed. I had recently had gotten my spark plugs replaced like 5, 6 months ago at the Ford Dealer. I was in and out in a hour n a half. 04-08 fords are known to have the plugs break off and potentially cause worse problems.... like paying $3,000 for a tune up... I asked the dude i was like "damn dude that was pretty quick how many broke off?" He was like "None, i woulda told ya if they did. They said ur motor is one of the cleanest motors thats come in for a while." So i def believe in using good gas (even tho ethanol sux *****) and i firmly believe in sea foam. Just use a can or so twice a month in ur truck with good gas and you'll be good. I also seafoamed thru the vacuum line that also gets you a big improvement. I do that maybe 2 or 3 times a year. And change your fuel filter i do it every 10,000 just so i kno i have proper filtration at all times. like i said... ETHANOL SUX

Arklight I am not sure what your setup currently is but I can tell u that with all 4 stock cats this is exactly the sound I wanted. I thought for sure it was going to be too loud and drone horrible but there is absolutely NO drone but really screams at wit. I think with high flows or a cat delete it would drone horrible though. Just imho. Also, I picked my super 10 for $50 off ebay so not too expensive if you just wanted to give it a try

Slower gas velocities and drone don't sound appealing to me. Stick to the quality stuff, Darren.

My setup

The set up that i have on my 04 is rear cat delete (kept the catalyst) with flowmaster Y pipe from 2.5" upgrading to 3" goin into super 10 muffler with single pipe coming out with 3 1/2" tip. I love the sound and b4 i had all the cats and ever since i deleted the mains it got way louder and ppl love it. I've gotten nothing but compliments and "holy **** dude" comments esp when i lay into it. I also have AEM CAI with superchips programmed. Dude you'll love it trust me. And no its not gonna throw off a light. The O2 sensors are b4 the mains. I just passed emissions a couple months ago with the mains gone. Burning super clean.

I have a 2010 so only 2 cats that are somewhat "high-flow" as it is. I am little concerned about drone but of course you never know until you see for yourself. I am looking at a magnapack as well.

The ONLY thing I don't like about my Corsa system is how quiet it is inside. Once you get up to cruising speed it is almost dead silent except for a very low "hum".

How loud would you say the idle, and slow acceleration sound? Ample enough to make the kit worth while? As loud as a Magnapack/Bullet setup?

It is tough to gauge against since I have limited experience with other setups outside of videos. The Corsa system certainly isn't quiet at slow acceleration, but it is not "loud" either. It really does have more of a "growl" than an intrusive loud sound to it. On acceleration, it sort of sounds like a Masseratti (sp?). Cold start idle has a solid sound to it (I posted video here before). Once it is warmed up, idle is quiet, but still noticable. It is not a loud thumping sound but sort of a low gurgle/growl. Acceleration might not be as loud as a Magnapack/Bullet, I am not sure. The Corsa system, IMO, does sound a bit "meaner" though.

As far as it being worth while, I get compliments all the time and it definitely turns heads. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the sound of it...I just wish it was louder inside. If you want a great tone on the outside with VERY little sound on the inside during cruise than the kit would be perfect. My wife describes the tone as a classy refined mean sound. lol One thing is for sure, it does not sound like any of the other trucks I have heard in my area. It grabs attention, that's for sure. There is a definite difference between the Corsa system and your Flowmasters/Magnaflows.

My Corsa system sounds like a mix of Masseratti/Jet engine/Race Boat/Tiger. If that makes any sense. LOL

Sorry for threadjack, OP!

If you get rid of your Corsa muffler, could I take it off your hands? I bet it would sound good with my hi flows. I'd be curious to hear it, my other choice is the 3" round body XR-1 (15" body)

People ask me ALL the time what my exhaust is. Most are shocked that I have 4 factory cats and 1 muffler. The tone is so incredibly different from the everyday slowmaster crap every chevy has on. I will always use Borla from now on.

If you are going to buy an entire catback, try to find the Roush offroad. The SI/DO muffler case is only 9" in length and straight-through. I modified it with 4"x18" maggy tips 45'd.
