Before I traded my '04 in I shot a little more video the weekend before after one final washing. Truck specs consist of,

2004 F-150 5.4L Super Cab 6'5 4x4 custom tuned, dwv mod with amsoil EaA200 filter.
Stock Manifolds
Deleted Rear Cats
2.5" True Duals X piped
Dynomax 12" Bullets
Magnaflow 4"x18" tips 45'd


The Bullets were 3 days & 50 miles old on "My Original Bullet Video" from 2010, here they have had a calculated 19,235 miles of heat & fume ran through them. A little deeper and louder from the original install. Sounded alright, un-bearable drone at times but was fun when doing videos like this haha. Enjoy.

Well guys my '04 was beginning to fall apart and the transmission acted very unhealthy. They say the 04/05 trans isn't as well built as the 06+ are, so I am hoping thats a fact. The previous owner towed with my old truck a lot and I towed a few boats with it, and the 33s added some strain too so I did see a transmission in the future. I did not want to put money into a truck that would over cost its value eventually. And it was time for a change, I hated the XLT, I hated it when I bought it but I took what I could afford back in 2008. I now have my Lariat finally. Much much happier with this truck and it is healthier than a horse. The Supercrew cab is much nicer too, the only downfall I see is I gained a finance payment ( though a real small one ) and got a 5'5 bed. I haven't used my bed really in about a year since I got mulch in 2010 so I don't see the requirement for 6'5 bed as much anymore. The two biggest modifications to my old truck I still have, PGHP programmer, and XDs. It seemed worth it to me. This truck stock is better than my '04 modded. The quiet exhaust and stock suspension are great, I do not want a stiff Bilstein suspension again or so much drone.

 

The video is not loading well for me right now. Sometimes I get that at night for some reason once in a while. I like your upgrade

i was worried you lost those wheels with the trade im glad you got em. theyl look sick on the black truck. you just gona put a Y pipe magnapack on this one and keep it simple?

Sad to see it go away, but th 07 has more potential and less of a headache.

 

Love the sound of the 04 even though I can see where that drone would get annoying. I picked up my 07 last December. I have some concerns with the tranny as far as slipping but the gryphon helps.

Oh no come on thats not what I want to hear! Hoping I never have such issues with this truck. I'm unsure if the Gryphon & tunes and 33s helped kill my '04s or not, I am reluctant to custom tune this one..

 

I hope you don't keep that exhaust stock. loud pipes save lives!
