This would be a perfect time to go magnaflow high flow cats. It only cost me about 300 between buying new cats and having them installed. Plus the sound of high flows versus stock is awesome!! Find out how many cats you have and do some searching on here for more info

Replacing all 4 stock cats with 2 new high flow cats is a very common mod on this board.

Nope. No one ever has.

.

Common change around here. If you are over 80k miles you can legally replace your cats with aftermarket EPA certified converters. The only time you can under 80k miles is if there is a fault, like your experience, the clogged converter. However it isn't a very big deal, Except in California.
