Im new to the truck world and i have a 05 supercrew f-150 5.4 4x2 and was wondering what would be the best and loudest sounding exaust to put on my truck i want it to be dual exaust also if that helps any. i want it to make people turn their heads and say wow that trucks sounds mean.

 

Depends on how much you wanna spend. The best system you can get it:

True dual Borla Mufflers (I say Xr1s, some say S-types)
X pipe
High flow cats
Longtube headers

 

I basically have what migdaddy suggests for a complete system, The XR-1s will turn heads at a cold engine start up and when you floor it. I am not sure how the XR-1s sound on an otherwise stock system but I am sure there are a few videos out there.

Longtubes will definitely make it loud, louder with resonators.

Had my 94106's installed this after noon and its cut the noise down on light acceleration by 50-60% no more burble of the exhaust, just a deep clean tone. Sounds probably like a light exhaust mod (3" from the y with a maggy) until you go WOT
