Easy there fellas us ex gm owners aren't used to these lean issues. Although I had a 99 2wd v6 in the past. Went Yukon then tacoma then sierra now back to f150. Gonna keep this one.
If your intake causes the truck to die from running lean that wont be covered. Ford warranties aren't as easy on people as GM warranties.

You should be good until you get the programmer installed tomorrow.

I got the bully intake, had that high pitched wistle and had to do modifications. They supply you with a rubber elbow that's used to relocated the throttle up from the intake. Well that rubber elbow was collapsing because of the vacuum created by the motor. I stuck the throttle body back down to the intake, went to the local hardware store and bought an elbow to go from the throttle body to the cold air intake. Also ordered a edge programmer cause of it.

so you purchased a POS caned tuning device to increase the leaness caused by the hot air intake...

I'm new to this f150 stuff. Better off sticking to stock stuff plus the tuner rather than the CAI?

Just search gotts mod. You will find over a hundred threads about it and I bet there is at least one sticky with it.

It's a vacuum hose from the intake to the valve cover. Replaces the stocker.
