Gurgling sound?

I just put a spectre cold air intake in my 2002 f150 4.6L V8. It is making a gurgling sound when i deccelerate and when it is idle. The noise is definately not supposed to be there. Any ideas?

Its probably a bad IAC.

Now that there is no restriction, you can hear it acting up..

If the slenoid is screwed, it wont hold a decent idle position.

Its like a grunt isn't it? like a popping..

Someone put a Flowmaster muffler on your truck when you weren't looking...

Besides checking all connections, are you certain the MAF is fine and intact? Sounds like an in-proper A/F ratio.

That is your IAC acting up. Your vid sounds exactly the same as my intake on my 2002 4.6 when I had a bad IAC.

Trust me on this one.

Try cleaning it or replacing it.

I replaced mine, and my truck sounded perfect

good luck man

Haha sounds horrible. I cleaned the IAC valve and that worked for a day, so i ordered a new one yesterday.

Alright guys little late but I got the part in the mail, they sent me the wrong one and I had to go back to school this week so I put my buddies used IAC valve on my truck and it now makes a fog horn noise when deccelerating sometimes. Not as annoying as the other sound but is this because I put a used IAC valve on instead of new?
