Bullet on '10 XLT question

I'm ditching my flowmasters this weekend, they sound awesome idling but like crap in the higher rpms but that's my opinion, but if you do go with a flowmasters look into a 40 series id stay away from the 44's.

Why not the 44's? Too loud?

I have the bullet on my 09 XLT 4.6 3V. The only thing I have noticed is the increase in noise and the looks of people faces in convertables as I drive by. lol My links in the sig have the videos.

Your installer is good to trust, but modulars prefere the free flow. That is why all 09+ models all run a 2.75" exhaust with flow through mufflers.

On the inside, yes, outside, not loud at all.

If I had to suggest a Flowmaster, it would be the Org. 40. The 44 is too raspy.

I would more suggest the new Super 10 series muffler over the Super 44, and any other 2 chamber, and over the crap 10 series itself. Pretty good sounding for a Flowmaster, t-409 stainless is not bad neither. An actual good sounding Flowmaster, 6" case and available in SI/DO.
