The Right Exhaust?

I want my 4.6 to sound like a Harley LOL!

What aftermaket exhaust would give about the same sound/noise level as a ....'05.... Harley?(truck, not bike lol) Preferably NOT the most expensive...

Supercharger would help. Muffler wise I would recommend Dynomax bullet 3" (or true duals) 3" Magnapack (or duals) or a 3" Borla Xr1 (or duals-might be too expensive). unfortunately with your 4 cats that will limit the volume. Removing the rear cats or replacing with high flows would help tremendously, and give it that beast sound your looking for.

Your 4.6L has more aggression than the 3v 5.4L so put a obnoxious type muffler on it, and enjoy.

If you want a great tone, Magnaflow, or Borla.

What would NO cats sound like with LT headers(pacesetters??), TRUE duals, and h or x pipe? I DON'T want it blisterin' snappy loud, but i'd at least like to be able to hear that the engine's running lol

Thanks!

That would be "blisterin" loud. Your truck would be competing with volume of a harley motorcyle.

Do not use 'flowmasters'. Borla ProXS mufflers, with LTs no cats would be alright.
