CPR fuel injection system cleaner

Has anyone heard of this stuff? My dad uses this in all his engines from his pushmower to his truck. He swares it's the best injector cleaner he's ever used. He gave me a couple bottles and I put one in this morning after filling the tank. Really can't tell a difference yet.

Were your injectors clogged?

I don't know. It kinda shuddered a little bit at idle. I wouldn't call it a miss. Didnt seem to do it when I was driving it on my break. The bottle says Helps restore power and performance. It's a miracle in a bottle haha just kiddin. My dad thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread.
Just seein if anyone else had heard of it or used it.

For anytime you pour any kind of a "cleaner" into your gas tank - just be sure to have a new fuel filter somewhere nearby!

I have heard of this and I'm with your dad ( this is the best cleaner out there ) if you are having issues it will take 2 or 3 bottles to see a difference but it is good stuff. I would love to find out where to get it now. I have not seen it for a few years. If you know where to find it could you let me know please.

You just dug up an 18 year old thread... @vaughn27 hasn't been by the forums in 12 years...

Lately my local Ford dealer uses the BG 44K (BG #208) for minor issued gas fuel injector cleanings.

Way back when, I had a very slight shudder on my practically new F150, and the service manager gave me a can of the one you put through the BG machine, BG #210. It actually fixed the problem. I remember when I tried a bunch of different gas stations, so I knew it wasn't the fuel.

Haven't needed it since, but it would be something to try if I ever did. Cheaper than pulling and/or replacing injectors.

BG 44K isn't what it used to be due to the VOC regulations. I use Techron.

The CPR cleaner doesn't exist any more, I'm guessing because of the VOC concern.
