Whats a safe intake system for a 05 5.4L?

I was wanting to put some kind of intake system on my wifes 05 5.4 but I've heard that most will make the truck run too lean. Is there any out there that are safe to run?

I vote Gotts Mod. Cheap and just as effective as the pricey aftermarket systems (although not as pretty.)

This should not affect the computer's A/F mixture calculation, as you are altering the airflow prior to the MAF sensor.

Best intake for $15.

Gotts but you'll get no difference except maybe a little more low end improving when towing. Tune it!

Thumbs up for Gotts

Gotts gets a thumbs up here... my 05 5.4 seems to like it too. I used 3.5" flexible aluminum dryer duct.

Gotts FTW! Can't go wrong with how cheap, easy, and effective it is.

I bought a cheap ebay intake for $80 and it came with a K&N filter. I am also tuned. I think it gave me about 1-2 mpg.
