A little quieter please

I have a 05 Screw W/4.6, True Duels,Magnaflow High Flow cats, both only in the front and Super 44's. They are off set 2.25 and I think they are 18 inch bodies. I have had them for 23,000 miles and have become very loud. If I replace them what should I go with to make them a little quieter. Mostly the inside Drone. Don't really care about the neighbors.

ditch the blowmasters and get some magnapacks or borla stingers, you will not regret it. and they won't drone the way blowmasters do. at least not when your cruising.

At first I was going to disagree and suggest the oval body Magnaflows, but you are right. I have the Dynomax Bullets which are barely packed at all, and they dont drone near as consistantly and annoyingly as the open chambered flowmasters. I actually forget about them once the Toyo's are singing at 55mph and the music is playing a little.

Go for the Magnapacks, or 11" Oval bodies. My old ovals didn't drone until you accelerated, on highway they were not loud at all, which is why I don't have them anymore, but they sounded real good and loud outside.

Not if he wants quieter. I suggest a pair of 14" or 18" Magnaflow oval bodies if you want a tad quieter.

Also, you do have a crossover right jtrombly?

You can lower the overall amount of drone by just adding a X-pipe. Food for thought...
