aw come on! unless your f150 has a diesel in it dont go with friggin stacks. stacks only belong on diesels, not gas trucks. PERIOD. they look great on diesels when done right and can spew black smoke a 1/8 mile up but only diesels. unless you wanted to do hood stacks like a pullin truck, no. i cant say it enough i keep editin this darn thing to, stacks ONLY ONLY ONLY belong on DIESELS!!!!!

i don't particularly want stacks, or not want stacks, but this thread has me curious.
I understand personal opinion - the stacked mustang is truly epic fail, for example - but other than personal opinion regarding the appearance, why would stacks be a good or bad thing for any particular engine? if anyone mentioned that, i must have missed it.

Stacks are cool on a diesel. They blow smoke. Stacks on a gasser, not cool. on a V6... even more not cool.
IF IT DONT SMOKE ITS A JOKE

My friend wants a stack on his 2.5l 4 cylinder Ranger. He says with a stright pipe it sounds like a V8...BS. It sounds like bee buzzing around the parking lot.
