That's so he can watch your face in... umm... amazement and envy... As he leaves you in the dust...

Or... so he can see the load on the trailer while he tows...???

Lastly... logistically... I think he needs them just to see AROUND those stacks...

I understand personal opinion - the stacked mustang is truly epic fail, for example - but other than personal opinion regarding the appearance, why would stacks be a good or bad thing for any particular engine? if anyone mentioned that, i must have missed it.
stacks won't harm or help a motor unless the mid pipes (between the motor and muffler are sized wrong) but then the stacks won't affect anything besides appearance and personal taste

Dont you think it will hurt the low end torque if he does not run a muffler of some type on it?

Stacks on anything other than a 18-wheeler looks STUPID. Absolute FAIL on a pickup.

And I get so cracked up when people put stacks on trucks.. who cares if its a diesal, 5.4, 350, F350, Dually.. even a dam V6... just dumb! Im the guy laughing at you at the stop light when you think everyone is loving it and starring at it giving you a thumbs up. Im cracking up because it looks so UGLY. And its stupid.. stupid... cut some big *** holes in your bed to run some stacksss!

Also it makes you look as if your wanting attention on top of that.. Which is people laughing at you.

STACKS = FAIL. Period

Easy there killer just relax and take a breath. There are quite a few people in here that think stacks look good on certain trucks and having your own opinion is fine and dandy. But when you come in here and start calling a group of people stupid for their opinions and likes its just not a good thing to do when you are most likely out numbered. Its not the smartest thing I have seen and I am wondering if its not the other way around.

Not calling anyone stupid.. But it looks stupid. Really.. come on.. It just screams "Hey look at me!!" when your out driving.

-Some-what could understand.. If you have a nice looking truck.. big and its a diesal putting out a lot of power, it sounds amazing with the setup and doens't look extremely retarded sticking 10 feet above the cab... then hey I can see people liking it and accepting it.. but putting them on a gas engine ......... seriously

Guy I know had a 2500 MegaCab 4x4 Cummins like 07 model 6 speed, very very nice lifted up some performance mods, His last setup on it before selling it was one big stack coming out the bed, in the middle right behind the cab.. and it didnt even come to the height of the top of his cab it was short stack but visible. It looked pretty decent and sounded good.. but never sounded as good and as mean as it once did with a full out 5 inch cat back SI/SO exhaust to a 6 inch tip which sounded Extremely awesome...
