I have a Magnaflow Catback Dual Exhaust System and it's great, since I've gotten it I've noticed slightly better throttle response and it sounds great. I've heard that Flowmaster are better for sound whereas Magnaflow are better for performance, either way enjoy the one you buy. As for other recommendations when I was buying my exhaust I was also looking at Roush, JBA, SLP and MBRP.

Out of those two I would recommend the second kit since it has a free flowing performance muffler.

I hate the tips in both kits so my actual recommendation would be to find a muffler you like online, get it in 3" single inlet to 2.5" dual outlet, by good looking tips that appeal to you and have a shop install it and you'll most likely have a 1yr warranty on the shop's work.

But if you are fine with either kit, then just choose what sound you like. Look on youtube for F150 Flowmaster 40 videos, and F150 Magnaflow videos

No, 2.5" is the full OEM size, but its best to run 3" off the Y pipe for full advantage of your single exhaust to the muffler. Or at least 3" in to 2.5" dual out for the best sound and for performance exactly like stock.

Totally different sounds! Check out youtube to decide which muffler sound you prefer.

I didn't even look at the kits, but I would choose magnaflow over flowmaster (aka chokemaster) any day of the week.
Like Darren said, flowmasters are more a sound and the magnaflows are more straight through performance mufflers. I have had magnaflow stainless catbacks on an 03 Jetta 24v VR6 and on 08 Subaru 2.5L turbo and they both sound, look and perform awesome.
I had a flowmaster on another truck and it sounded, well, like a flowmaster but did absolutely nothing for performance.

One muffler is not "for sound" They sound differently. Maggies are deep and clean sounding with a more subtle idle... but chambered mufflers offer more low end rpm rumble while having a snappier idle. WOT... Straight thurs will win the volume as the engine noise goes right to through the muffler and not running into baffling chambered like on a flowmaster.

I'm as big a Flowmaster fan as anyone but I am not so ignorant to think that they don't cause a little performance loss and a little loss of low end torque. Just a little though. For me it's worth it for the sound.
