id say keep the dynomax on, and put the high flows in, it will get a bit louder, keep about the same sound/tone. might be what your lookin for from what i remember on my old 94 Taurus SHO, i had 2 dynomax turbos, and a high-flow catted y pipe and a shorter maggie resonator on the 3.2 v6, and it sounded awesome, and from about 5500-7300rpm(ya, that motor wound up!) it just SCREAMED, and sounded awesome.

idk, id be tempted to leave off the x and then if you get it done and it sounds like it needs it then id try it out. but i doubt it will.

although...my dumped SI/DO flow 40 pops like a ****
It probably isn't the same for V6s, but if you get true duals with no crossover you will surely hear the difference. The left pipe will sound better where as the right pipe has a choppier sound to it and not hold as much tone. On Silverados its the exact opposite.

Hmm, mine works very well, but that may be because of the powerbrake

My LS is quite a bit older though, my truck is old! LS was put in 2003.

Got my tips and X pipe, but still waiting on my mufflers.
