idk, id be tempted to leave off the x and then if you get it done and it sounds like it needs it then id try it out. but i doubt it will.

well, some engines need a X or H pipe on duals because of the way they fire and run, my 3.8L mustang did not, because it was a even firing engine, a odd firing engine will need a H or X pipe.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure I am right, IF you have a even firing engine ( one fires on left then one on right and so on ) and not a odd ( two on one side, two on the other ) you may not need a X or H pipe.

 

It will tone down the popping. Even on a even firing motor.

Yes I have very little bottom end. I said earlier I dont tow and I never put any weight on it, maybe it will stop it from lighting the tires up so easy.

 

I wish mine was a bit louder but it sounds great at higher rpms, but that's only because I have a 50 series muffler. I wonder how it would sound with a 40 series. Don't knock on vans, I used to have a 87 e-150 with a 351w. I loved that engine.

I liked the van as well, it was a couch. Best thing to have when hanging out with a bunch of buddies. Can't count how many times we dusted stangs in it. We called it the panoach coach.

 

i'll shut up -d-----bag,i list a van , i don't list all my toys, but actually i own 10 vans-2004-2010's- as i own my own hvac company, fwiw-i have the title to every van as well as all my other toys as well as the deed to my estate,so yeah i drive a van, but it has gotten me everything i own-as BOM takes his foot out of his mouth

 

 

My question to you is when you were 14 did you start working just to make money to buy your first vehical. When you were 16 did you own not one, but two trucks.
