I know this has been asked a billion times...

I ordered an exhaust for my 08 5.4L Supercrew with the Super 40 SI/DO and love the tone, but want it louder. I'm thinking that either a H-pipe or another Y-pipe that will give me a true dual setup and running another Super 40 or going to original 40's or Super 44's. I've searched youtube and can't really find one that is what I want. some of them sound great, but I can't tell how loud it is. I've looked at straight piping, but heard that kills mpg and I don't plan on doing that...what would you all suggest?

You could keep the si/do and just ad 2 hi flow cats in place of your two 16" stockers. (94306 would be about 20-25% louder and 94106 would be near catless sounding)

No problems with a lean or richer condition when running these? I don't know the tuning of these trucks too well...or the A/F...

Nope... they do not affect the A/F ratios. Just check your local laws to make sure you can change out the cats if you decide to go that route.

K. I didn't know where the O2 sensors were on these trucks in relation to the cats and mid-pipe. Thanks for the help man. Anymore suggestions? I want to know some more possibilities before I spend any $

The o2 sensors need to be mounted behind the cats to avoid a CEL.

You could also switch to true duals like you said or even try a Super 44.

Forgot to put that with the vid...I was wondering the sound difference with that setup and the hi-flow cats...

it wont be as loud, raspy, or crackly. will still be all of those, just a lower tone of all 3.

replace your 2 OEM cats with 2 94106 magnaflow high flows and you should be happy.

This work or should I just go with the 94306 one? And how many cats do we have on our trucks that I'd have to replace?

94106 are the loudest ones. your truck has 2 cats.
