its the intake, 3v 5.4Ls especially 04s and 05s cant handle CAIs without custom tunes for it.

Yep, you're running so lean that you can actually plan a date for the engine detonating. Remove the cold air intake and don't put it back on until you get custom tunes for it.

Personally, PHP Gryphon.

Think theirs really only two options, the Gryphon or an Xcal

The Gryphon is an excellent programmer with custom filed tunes if you request, or the Troyer Xcal tunes.

I'm having performance issues with my truck. When I accelerate, it sometimes seems to respond for a split second then kicks into an almost no response mode. I'm pressing the throttle and it's barely getting any RPM's and when the RPM's do get up, the tranny does not shift normally. I've replaced cats and throttle position sensor to no avail. In the past I also got a few lean bank codes but was told to clean the MAF sensor and it seemed to work. I've seen another post complaining of the same response issue and now I'm seeing this code post. We all seem to have the same thing in common......K&N air intakes. I'm wondering if that's the issue, since my problem only started after the intake was installed. I'm running an '01 Harley and wondering if the same issue is surrounding it as the 03 and 04 models as was stated in the earlier post? I need help!!!
