what if i just powder coat it? how much more will SS be? I know on our bikes we usually run titanium, but sometimes go with SS for its durability, but it still tends to rust near the head. Are we just talking get SS tubing or do they make a different muffler of SS.

T-304 would be the best choice because it stands up well. T-409 is a lower quality in terms of rust durability. It tends to rust faster esp on the surface.

Powdercoating aluminized piping will be more expensive than buying stainless exhaust originally.

Just get a couple rattle cans of some high temp paint, the kind they use to paint engine blocks. That should help prolong the life of your pipes without costing you your soul.

Ok, so now I have more questions. Where should I get 3" tubing from? and what about just running a straight pipe? How much louder will it be then with the bullet?

You can probably get it off of Jegs or summit racing I would think. The straight pipe is just noise... the bullet would be louder and deeper and more toned. None of that cackly raspy noise. Exhaust to me are like music... if it doesn't sound appealing to me, it's just noise. Straight pipe falls into the noise category IMHO
