True Duels Installed

Got true duels today: 14" oval magnaflows with a magnaflow x-pipe and 4"x18" tips 45ed off the back. I cant be happier. I cant keep my foot off the skinny peddle. Starts up really nice. Then has a quite deep tone at idle. And on take off sounds like a bat out of hell.

Thanks everyone on here for all the help.

Just got one more question. Would a CAI make a difference. I have an 03 SCREW with 63,000 miles. I cant get a gryphon for my year. That was the programmer I liked most. Is a CAI still worth it?

I don't know the CAI answer, but what size piping did you go with? I want to run almost the same setup, but with 2 cats instead of 4. Any low end torque loss?

Congrats, enjoy. a CAI would help the note be a little stronger, and performance would increase a little, even better with an intake.

if you use your truck -not drag racing it-by this i mean driving it normal-using the tq that the triton provides, 2.25" is the way to go- now the 2.5 will deliver a tad more in top in hp in the upper rpms, but it loses in the tq dept. under 3500 to the 2.25"

i assume you are using a 2.5" dido muffler?you could still use 2.25 in /out,they would just expand the 2.25" by swedging it to mate the 2.5" muffler, consider this -even though you do not tow-you still do not want to lose any bottom end, these 6000 lb trucks need all the bottom end they can get, imho-anytime i can help bro-phil

no...i have a si/so 4x9x14. i would get another one and an x pipe to run true duals along with either 2 high flows or just deleting my rear cats.

You can still use 2.25" pipes with the 2.5" mufflers.
