Truck Heading in for Duals
Man, those stupid laws.
. I dont think your even allowed to break a certain decible rating down there.
That is unfortunate Migdaddy. I do have the 4 cats and 2.5" piping. If I were you, I would try out the 14" si/do and have it set-up like mine. Believe me, it sounds pretty loud, I accelerated onto a small state highway, really loud in the cab at 2k rpm, I love it. It is a bummer how strict California is with their laws

But atleast you have exhaust now, with 4 cats and a 32" muffler, the 04 - 05 F150s have to be the most quietest V8 trucks ever.
I believe it's the front in 97-03, but I may be mistaken.
It kinda sounds like your opinion of loud is a bit quieter than mine is. Not bashing on you in any means, but just noting that there is much much louder than a 14" body out there. If you got that Flowmaster I wonder how much you would have liked that

Without a doubt. I like a moderatley loud exhaust, which is defientely quieter than your preference, no offense taken at all
I do know that the 50 series flowmaster is too quiet for me, and I didn't want the drone of the 40 series, which is exactly why I chose this. I would be intersted in hearing a Magnaflow 11" si/do (if they ever get around to making it) on our trucks. I love the low growl though of the magnaflow, kinda sounds like a vette in the cab.

You got that right man! For now since I'm starting college in the fall, I'll keep working on my truck and add something each year hopefully, but the goal is to have it as a toy after college and get another F-150 for a daily driver
where you goin to college at in the fall? I am too
The rears contain the gas burning catalyst but most remove them since they hold back the most sound and dont report CELs.
So youre goin to BS? hahaha jk man. Im goin to Gardner-Webb University for baseball its in NC
With LTs you can only run two cats because there isn't enough room before then bend and guide over to the Y pipe to fit 4 cats.
