Probably mechanical flow stradegys learning things over. When I puleld my rear cats and replaced with pipe, for the first two start ups and drives it sounded like it flapped alot, after the 3rd one when it sat for a few hrs it started up mean and loudly.

Its mostly the same reason as I had explained for my cat delete job, its a mechanical learning stradegy. Exhaust flows a certain way, and once its changed its interuped by more flow path.

And with chambered mufflers ( especially Flowmaster ) soot and carbon fills the cracks and corners helping seal the interior leaks of the baffle plate layouts helping the sound more. I noticed it with the Super 44s in my old Chevy.

Bummer. I had to wait an extra week for my old trucks exhaust because of a snow storm. Why not just take it there and wait? Pretty brave to leave your truck at a shop, I much prefer watching to see whats going on.

Yeah it is, I have placement testing on saturday for my college adventure next year(heheh) so he is going to take the truck for me and wait. I wrote down EXACTLY what I want so he can tell them and have it done. When I come ack from the testing, it should be all set for me And also, I would prefer to watch as well, so actually is kind of good it happened this way so my dad can watch them. He is very picky too.

OH, and they close at 5pm, so that's why it has to wait, other than that we would have just brought it and waited. We just would not have enough time becuase of when he gets in from work (4:15)

HAHA yeah, my dad will stay with the truck on Saturday. I called them to reshedule and they didn't call me back yet, so I'll give them a buzz again tommorow and take care of it. It's kind of a pain, especially where I was so exicted and I told some my friends. Sh** happens oh well

HAHAHA, Yeah, I know right. He sent me a text in school and was like There was just no way he could make it before the shop closed at 5. It's almost an hour drive due to commuter traffic, even though it's pretty close to us(he gets home just after four). We could have still went, but in the morning, my truck would have been vandalized or stolen. He told me after that he did not want to send me that message because he felt so bad, but it is what it is. While I sit here and mope (HAHAHA) anyone have that set-up with out any cat work? I posted of one of Darren's videos right after install and it he said mine would sound like his, just a tad quieter. I just can't tell how loud that actually is
