. Magnaflow needs to make a SI/DO out of the 11" body! I would have bought that originally instead of going true duals. I bet alot of people would run a SI/DO 11" body if one existed. It would be a cheaper Roush Off-Road!

Definitely. It would help their reputation out much more too. Maybe sometime I should hint it to Christopher at Magnaflow and see if it could be thought about.

It is possible but would take alot and i mean ALOT, of work. Being that Magnaflows internals are packed with spreforated tube, inside a SI/DO is a Y pipe preforated tube thats single 3", and dual exiting 2.5". Then its all specially wrapped in rock wool and packed tightly inside the case. With say a Flowmaster, its as simple as cutting a single entrance/exit wall out and welding a dual one in its place.

I wish they just sold one, it stinks, but I hope the 14" will suite me, I am getting it definetely (no Question) but part of me is concerned it won't be loud enough, I just don't want to be disappointed.

you could get the 11'' and put a Y pipe after the muffler and make it dual out. idk what that would sound like compared to a dual out 14''. just an idea tho...

Yeah, but I don't wanna take the risk. I called them today after school, they are taking my truck at open Saturday morning. My dad will bring it due to me having testing. I'm gonna go with the 14" si/do because of a few reasons, pretty good tone, little to no drone, and stainless steel. I want a nice growl for now, loud, but not obnoxious and then in a few years, Roush Off Road here I come!!!

Pardon my forgetting if you have already stated but do you have specific reasons for not upgrading your catalytic converters? Thats always an option if the 14" doesn't suite you. But the 14" is the same as Flowmasters under accell, and sound clearer, but calmer idle. The cats are whats going to dissapoint you if you want more sound.

Ok, so I bet it will be louder than I expect if the aceleration is similar to flows. I will eventually upgrade my cats to hi flows, but not for a few years. To be honest, my parents are not big on those kids of modifications in terms of playing with the cats. I am going to try it down the road maybe 3-4 years, but it would take some convincing, unless I just do it when I would move out after college. It will take time to break in so that should be ok then, everyone's sound preferences are are different. Darren, you cats on sound (after install) would be exactly what I am looking for, so hopefully it will only be a bit quieter on mine, if not the same. I hear some trucks around me (trucks with duals are at a bunch of the houses around me suddenly haha, seemed to start after my oldest brother did his a few years back ) that sound way too loud. I think if mine sounds similar to yours did coming out of the shop I will be happy, even if it is a tad quieter, because as it was stated, the maggies take some time to break in.

Ok thats understandable. Yours will have some sound no worries. Both sound and performance. If you going away for college and taking the truck, try pulling those rears out and replacing with straight pipe ( or hi-flow cats to play it legal ) and when your parents hear it next and ask how it got louder "straight through mufflers are supposed to get louder overtime"
