Anybody have it or have any sound clips? I wish someone made a Y pipe like they do for the 97-03's w/ cats already welded in, but I haven't been able to find one.

How big of a difference did you notice with them? Sound difference I'm sure. I really like the Roush sound, but would love something a little bit more agressive and noisier

I had a link saved w/ the right cats to get from Magnaflow but I can't find it. Darren or someone, can you tell me the part# 94106? Was that it? I'm just goin off the top of my head there.

I'd like to get them in before I order my custom tunes so I can make sure they at least know I have them ahead of time.

Magnaflow 94106 cats will work, and they're the loudest cats giving a near cat-less sound.

 

Thanks for the info and quick response Darren. I went ahead and looked around and found a pair of brand new 94106's for $100 shipped on Ebay, so I couldn't pass that up. I know most people pay 60-70 each, so I figured I had to jump on it.

Now to find an exhaust shop I can trust

I would also be interested in what this would sound like...? Anyone know if you can buy just the mufflers? I swear i read somewhere that borla or someone makes the roush mufflers... In all the ROR sound clips I have heard they seem really quiet?

 

Roush exhausts are manufactured by Borla. You cant buy just the Roush off road muffler unless you find someone selling one used. Theres only 1 body size ( 9" long, 4x9 i'm pretty sure ) and 1 configuration ( 3" single in 2.25" dual out ). Wish they would sell just the mufflers though, even if they were $200 each I would have bought one and ran a full 3" single instead of true duals.

 

I think i saw a thread on this in my earlier searches, but is there a borla muffler close to or identical to the roush?

 

There was some gossip about that but I was never able to verify it. Not enough people buy Borlas.
