True Duals W/ low end

Alright i know that when you go with true duals and with out a muffler your gonna loose low end. But this is what im wondering, Im got the 4.6 and i want to cut my magnaflow muffler off because its to quite for me. So i was wondering if i run true duals, 2.5, x-pipe, no mufflers. Then will i gain better performance over stock when i add s&b cai, and tunner. Should i have better fuel millage and more low end over stock? I was thinking about some long tubes in the future also. I even have highflow cats should i throw them on also or will that hurt my torque. Reasons why i want my low end is because i tow and when i tow i tow alot of weight. Let me hear you oppions, thanks everyone.

Ok just so you know the difference is not going to be enough for you to even feel going to the setup you posted. I have that exact setup and I know I felt no difference, plus it sounds awesome. Your cats provide all the back pressure you need, so as long as your 05 has the 2 cat setup I wouldn't mess with them.

As long as you run that X pipe, there will be no problems.

And another question, what do you all think about this x pipe, its not a magnaflow but sure as ever beat 80$ for one too. You think this one might be a good one maybe last 4 years or more? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2652&viewitem=

I think Pat has one of those on his setup. I'd get it just because of the price.

You wont really lose much since the Magnaflows are direct flowing. True duals might hurt a pinch but not when your generally driving unloaded. Pull a 6,000lb trailer might see it.

not trying to Hijack this topic but

am planning to run : long tube header , then high flow cats then directly thos small mufflers after each cats , no x-pipe no long run for air, so basicly my exhaust system will be 2 parts ,left and right , what do you think about it?

am searching for similer setups , but nothing till now...

thanks

hmmm , not sure what the keyword "True duals" stands for , but my idea is to make a separate muffler exit for each header monifold...I need to draw it better
