Question about high flow cats

No problem man. Very normal, you may be able to smell the exhaust a little on cold starts from now on, and it might smell like hot metal for awhile. All will be good, shouldn't ever get a CEL if the sensor was factory mounted after the cat.

Hopefully. But if your exhaust shop did the job it must be fine and legal. You had all 4 replaced with 2 hi-flows right?

yeah. 94306 were the cat numbers. ergh everyones still saying to me my truck sounds the same. how is that possible?

and also, i called Magnaflow about the smell, he said that since i had the shop mendrel bend new pipe before high flow cats, he says the oil they use is just burning off and something with what the cats are coated in.

Cause Flowmaster is loud to begin with, and no one will know your trucks sound or behavior better than you.

& thats true.
