Question about high flow cats
No problem man. Very normal, you may be able to smell the exhaust a little on cold starts from now on, and it might smell like hot metal for awhile. All will be good, shouldn't ever get a CEL if the sensor was factory mounted after the cat.
Hopefully. But if your exhaust shop did the job it must be fine and legal. You had all 4 replaced with 2 hi-flows right?
yeah. 94306 were the cat numbers. ergh everyones still saying to me my truck sounds the same
. how is that possible?
and also, i called Magnaflow about the smell, he said that since i had the shop mendrel bend new pipe before high flow cats, he says the oil they use is just burning off and something with what the cats are coated in.
