My Roush Off Road Exhaust is HERE!

UPS dropped it off today. Painted my tips with High temp Black paint. Hopefully the paint will stick. I can't wait. Will post pics tomorrow.

Did you get the side exit or rear exit? I will be getting the side exit in a few months.

I got the dual exit but I have a question. The exhaust sounds good but seems a little quiet. Granted I have not heard it from anywhere other than the cab, and it should be fairly quiet from there. How can you make sure you have the off road exhaust and not the legal? Thanks

Most mufflers get louder when they get some miles on them.

If your muffler looks like this (10" long) you have the Roush Off Road. The legal muffler is twice as long.

Mine is not quite in the least. It sounds A W E S O M E !

Yea I have the offroad. It seems a little quiet though. I figured it knock out my tire sound but it didn't. I do have really loud tires.... Like I said, the exhaust sounds very good, but it wasn't as loud as expected. I can still hear my engine at WOT. And my girlfriend actually thinks it sounds good! Maybe I need to just break it in.

Stealth do you have any sound bites of your exhaust? Most all the ones on youtube have the mic way too close and are revving the **** out of them. From the more mellow videos it sounds killer. Good looking too!

I remember you saying you offered someone on Ebay $475, but got it cheaper somewhere else. Do you mind saying where and how much?

I can't wait to get mine! I just ordered it a few hours ago actually. I got mine from WoodHouse as many others on this site have as well. I could find it a bit cheaper on Ebay and a few other places, but spending a few extra bucks to support a company so obviously happy to support the F150 group is a small price to pay. Cant' wait!

Your stock cats are holding back the real extra volume your wanting. Give it 1,000 or so miles for the initial break in, and a couple thousand more after that for the gradual break in. If unsatisfied still, hi-flow converters.

To make a long story short I ended up buying it at Mall of Georgia Ford and paying more so I could pay with a bank account with money in it instead of the paypal account I only use for Paypal and ebay. I didn't want to have to wait and draw the maximum from the ATM for a couple of days and transfer it to the paypal bank account and then wait a few days to clear. So I paid the extra $20 or $30 and ordered it direct. If that makes sense.

Makes perfect sense, although I've never heard of an ATM having a max that low. I guess it just depends on where you bank.

I thought the same thing you did when i got my roush offroad a month ago, but after 500 miles i noticed a HUGE difference. I made a post about it a couple weeks ago, i was so pissed i bought it cause it was so silent, but i promise give it a few hundred miles and it will liven up.
