I noticed it with mine at first but I'm used to it now, I do find that if I am going down a lon hill and I get completely off the gas and just coast, there is a rumbly,not quite popping noise all the way down, sounds kinda cool.

 

My 05 had a vortex si/so system on it when I purchased it. Nice sound at idle and acceleration but I seem to get some drone in the cab when cruising on interstates.

 

Thats the back pressure affect when your in 4th gear overdrive.

 

Well whatever it is I like it.

 

RUSS, what kind of CB you get? The glass pack, or a different style? Any sound clips?

EDIT: NM, just realized the thread title is cherry bomb VORTEX.

 

Yeah Cherry Bomb Vortex for me. I'm planning on getting some sound clips this weekend. Thought that might be helpful.
