The overall best thing to put in it? Roush Off-Road cat-back

You'll get a ton of responses about this, because responses are based on opinion. I like the Magnaflow cat back kit. If you want full stainless for less than $400, can't beat it.

If you want loud, Magnaflow is not your kit, but Flowmaster may be.

If you want cheap, you may want to go to a muffler shop and get a muffler installed with aluminized pipe...

See the options?

Need to decide your budget, how much louder than stock, side exit, rear exit, etc, and go from there.

was mainly wondering what mufflers were the best, i pretty much know i want duals w/side exit, but exit before the tire.dont know if i want good flow w/smooth sound or good flow w/loud, it's probably gonna be either flowmaster 2chamber or a magnaflow.I want to put either y pipe or a x pipe just don't which is better.

"Best" depends on your criteria...

Corsa is the Best if you want quality built and quality sound... rumble on acceleration but no drone when cruising at city/highway speeds. High quality stainless steel... will not rust.

But if your idea of "best" is LOUD... then you can get all kinds of other mufflers. Watch out though as they are not all street legal... the Roush Off-Road is not street legal... people have posted on here about getting tickets for that exhaust. Also watch what mufflers you get... some of them are lower quality stainless steels that develop surface rust.

Yea , I like Corsa as well. Borla, Gibson, Bassani are all a step above. My Magnaflow rusted ugly, got rid of it.. - What's funny, - My Maggy cats didn't rust , they just turned colors

What you need to ask is what dual set up will keep my torque down low. I don't think an X pipe will do it unless you reduce down a quarter inch. Sounds nice gets old without torque, you want it to run as good as it sounds right ? I couldn't find one, they all eat it - I stuck w/single.

well i went to a mouffler shop and singal flowmaster with aluminized pipe and a turn down at the axel 100 bucks can't do duals and exit out the sides because of the tank.. so a single mifght be the way to go.... plus got a bitchen deal.. anyone in orange county CA. go to plaza mufflers in orange by the orange circle and ask for JOHNNY, he knows his stuff and once again bitchen prices. he charged me that then charge another dumbass for the same setup 160.00 because the kid said everyone quoted me 300.00 so he still bet it just not as good for me..

i live in ventura county and have a pretty good shop i go to. i honestly would not recommend a turndown. its just echo noise. pay the extra 50 bucks and have it turned side exit in front of the tire. itll sound bitchin. what flowmaster are you getting? if you want loud and performance go with a dynomax bullet. 40 bucks shipped from summit racing and an extra 50 bucks to get it installed. and then add on a tip and youll be at 150 for a bitchin sound. listen to my vids and see if you like it. definately loud in person vs the video.

I started with the Roush street legal and have since moved to the Roush Off-Road for the past year. It's not that loud until you step into it. In my opinion, Off-Road is legal on the street and just a poor naming option by Roush to call it Off-Road. At times it seems almost too quiet--so not sure how people are getting ticket with this system?

Love my MBRP SI/SO all stainless mandrel bent from the cat back. Rolled tip. Around $350 shipped. Deep rumble. My other choice would be the Roush Off Road.
