who makes roush mufflers???

hey guys, i know that some companies outsource their systems to companies like magnaflow and borla. I'm just wondering if roush does the same thing. the reason why i ask is because i test drove the stage 1 roush and it has the tone that I'm looking for. i called roush and they said that the stage 1 has the "legal" roush system. anyone know where i can pick up just the muffler?

You can't just buy the Roush muffler, it's a part of their cat back systems.

Roush exhausts are made by Borla. I have the Roush Off Road on my truck and the sound is awesome, perfect.

yeah.... but why would i want to pay 500+ for a cat back system to turn around and pay 100+ for it to be modified??? I might as well just build my own mandrel system with the same mufflers plus other goodies and get exactly what i want for less than i can buy the cat back to begin with......

BTW.... i got confirmation from borla direct that they do infact make the roush systems. their borla catback is the same cat back system just without the roush stamp. I also got a number of a lady that im supposed to call to find out what muffler they are running.

That's cool, keep us informed. The info will help others, no doubt.

It would probably cost you $20 - $30 to get 1' of pipe cut and attached...

thanks for the link jbrew.......

darrenWS6.... it comes down to the fact that i still wouldn't have the exhaust that i want. i personally like to design and make things myself rather than have a bolt on kit that everyone else has.... its personal preference.

i will let people know what muffler corresponds to what kit when i get a hold of borla on monday when they open.

True, I see where your coming from. I like my personalization also, my exhaust is all personalized by myself, but installed by shop.
