Sorry but flush with the body line looks a lot "cleaner" than having the front one out farther just to keep them in line, but thats my opinion.

sorry was monkeying around with the post when you asked that. 2.5" in 3.5" out by 18" long SS tips by Silverline 45º slash cut

$90 for tips, $180 for x and mufflers, and $75 for the pipe and all the bends, but I'm a big repeat customer and help with all my installs so I get a discount.

allright ya'll thanks a ton for that feedback i got it all done today for about $240 so i am pretty happy, if i could maybe squeeze one more thing outta ya,
how do i get it louder now? i realize when i put my intake on that should help some and high flow cats, but is there another way also?

Skip the high flows, just cut the back 2 converters off and leave the 2 pre-cats. High Flows are a waste of money, the stock converters are good for up to 350 CID, so you don't need any bigger.

yea but will i still pass emissions with the back 2 cut off, that is all i am worried about. i was told that they are checkin for hacked off cats here (but he is a little street tuner)

Cutting out any factory cat without having another ca to replace it is illegal in the book, but the pre-cats are just fine. They are 11.26" ( for my '04 they are ) and thats the average sized cat converter. They dont need the other 12" rear cats. Theres legal cats ( part #94306 by Magnaflow ) that work perfect and 49 state legal for swapping 4 cats to the two hi-flow ones if the shop is willing to do the work. I'm cutting mine out soon. Your best bet would be to have the shop make it look clean and factory like. I'm clamping in universal piping to replace my rears. When inspection time comes around I will just put the rears back on for the day or if I make buddys with the guy i'll explain it to him and hopefully that minor change could slip by.

Go to a scrap yard and see how much you can get for all 4 of your cats, I'm willing to say it will be more than enough to offset the cost of the high-flows. You might come out of the deal with 50 extra bucks or so
