Red face Turndown questions for a 2000

hey ya'll i am planning on hacking off my stock muffler tommorow and installing a 40 series flowmaster with turndowns before my rear axle. i have seen a few people complaining about interior drone and i wanna know how bad it is going to be with a 5.4L. If anyone could help that would be wonderful.

Flowmaster is a known droning system, a dumped Flowmaster is gonan be pretty harsh. Save for the extra money and have tailpipes and tips installed.

After you do a turn down you will have to keep cleaning under the body because it will overtime rust the underside of the bed out, and ofcoarse blacken it with exhaust fume.

My factory radio was NOT loud enough to cover up the drone of my dumped setup, it is a headache anytime driving. If you are wanting to save money, run it out lightning style.

My 4.6 will be alot deeper and not as raspy and high as yours, so it will be more annoying than mine was

The magnaflow setup has 3.5" tips, and the straight piped had 4" tips, they were both 45 degree. The 4" were 12" long and the new 3.5" are 18" long.

get compliments on it quite a bit. i do prefer the tips out like that, look more aggressive than having them rolled on their side. 2.5"x3.5"x18" Silverline tips
