an H-pipe will help with sound and low end torque. The X-pipe doesn't sound as good.

a rule of thumb is straight thru mufflers use an X-pipe

chambered mufflers use an H-pipe.

Do you have cats or no cats? I'd go with the H Pipe, personally. Typically the H Pipes will give you more torque vs the X Pipe which will give you more horsepower. I ran true duals, with cats, 2.5" tubing, two Dynomax Bullets with a H Pipe and it sounded sweet !!

If you've got four, just remove the rear ones. It'll sound awesome !! The 02 sensors are before the 1st set and between the 1st and 2nd set so you'll be fine. They do not effect anything concerning tuning or how the vehicle will run.

Thump were you runnin highflows with your bullets? that just sounds like it would be really really loud. ive been running the idea of headers over and over in my head and would like to get them on this summer after i get home from mexico but i have no idea as to what mufflers. bullets? maggies? borla? id prefer the first two as they are cheaper but who knows. bullets sound cool but dont wanna wake the neighbors when i leave for work in the morning or come home late at night.

No, I was just running stock two cat set-up. It was on a 2006. I was running stock exhaust manifolds as well. If you send me an email to my screen name at yahoo.com, I can send you an exhaust video. It really wasn't that loud, not enough to annoy anyone. I like loud exhausts though ... you should hear my Mustang.

Exclamation 06 FX4 5.4L AIRAID Modular Intake Tube ( 400-940 )

I put this on my truck about a month ago!

I drive 36 miles to and from work each day mostly in traffic...
But did gain between 1 to 1.5 MPG...
I'm taking a trip to North Carolina next month...
So we'll see how it does on the highway!
I would recomend it! Only costs 110 bucks from AutoAnything.com
