now, someone coming in with 36 cute little posts is going to tell me something doesn't work that i can see with my own eyes (i'll take pics of my edge in the morning so you know i'm not BSing ya)

NOT telling you to buy one. just i'm testing it out...geez people are touchy. btw, i posted this in the 97-03 section, NOT the 08 section..... don't know what it will do for you.

gibson exhaust
Edge Programmer
KN intake
Edelbrock throttle body

But, I just think your testing method is wrong. You're basing this off what the Edge is saying your MPG is? That's not accurate at all.

you've apparently NEVER talked to me.... so until you have please keep your comments to yourself. do a quick search for my name and you'll see my reputation as both a f150online member and salesman.... i was a member on here long before i was in sales. No, i'm not basing it purely off the edge, that's why i said give me a full week for total results.

i'm trying to be helpful and give MY opinion on something that ALOT of people are wondering about right now because of gas prices.

Crash im following this closely, and if your results say it works then to me it does.

And obviously people dont know you, or even take the time to get to know what you are about.

I really dont understand why people dont looks at results with an open mind....

I never thought I'd actually see a thread like this, but if it works.... more power to you!

After you go thruogh a few tanks and get your mpg, go back to no tornado and see if mileage goes back down.

Wow... someone posts their finds on a product (that he admits didn't think would work) and people bash him, and try to "prove" him wrong. How many of you guys, who are posting some websites "facts" have actually trie it yourself ? Just curious. Looks like one person who chimed in had tried it on a... Jeep(?) and also said he thinks it helped a little bit. I don't know, I have always looked at these TB spacer and "gas savers" and snake oil tech, but if someone starts finding some... heck, with gas prices ANY, improvement then I am all ears. Let him finish his tests and see. He said he still wants to see it over a longer test period.

As for Crash trying to promote something to sell... You make me laugh !! First of all, you don't know him for **** if your saying that. The guy doesn't push anything on anyone. Second, why would he be pushing this cheap-o mod ? Why not push some new $400 comp. chip that does the same thing ? That way, if he actually marked up his products, he'd make some real money.

I had a tornado on my 04 impala and it did work. I'm not stating that they will work on all applications but on my car it did!

Thank goodness we aren't posting the results about how long waxes last or we'd be in trouble! My Father in-law swore by his tornado in his 1998 F-150, so I ran one in my 2003 F-250 smoker. It may have worked for me, but it sounded more like it helped the turbo sing. I see ads time again and wonder what it would do for the wifes Pacifica. Keep us informed. At today's gas prices, I'm in for anything that helps.

Someone actually says it works!? Well, shoot! If it worked for him if might work for me! I guess I'll order me a Tornado and a couple of those magnetic fuel savers off Ebay to try!

No thanks. One trip where you show improvement is not conclusive evidence of the Tornado improving your fuel mileage. There are WAY to many variables in only 1 period of testing. The Placebo Effect may have also had a hand with you thinking it helped so much with your MPG... Run a week with the Tornado and a week without the Tornado back to back for 2 months. That would give broad (2 months) and even (switching each week) results.

And please, don't go posting pictures of your Edge. Do the math on paper, the " 'ole fashion way ". Either way, if it works or it doesn't, I'd be interested in the results. Good luck.

sigh.... ok im sitting here are redeyed and bout to pass out... i agree with ya mudterrain... i said myself i'm running day to day edge avmpg and then i should be able to calculate up when i get paid again so i can get some more gas...

and honestly, if i was trying to be a spokesman for the company, i'd test it fully.... but i could honestly give a **** less. if ya'll willing to give some donations for gas money for all the testing i may give it a thought though...

btw, what show was that in your sig? SeMa? or the one TA put on down in cali?
