Magnaflow Exhaust Questions

Alright, so my baby is telling me that she needs new cats. Went on to Troyers website, and im planning on getting the #94306 cats.

Now for my question. I figured as long as im doing the cats, why not do the whole exhaust? I wanna stick with the magnaflows, but im looking for a system that has two pipes coming off the muffler that exit behind the tires, not strait to the back of the truck. I cannot stand that look on trucks. anyways, does anyone have any idea where I can find this? I looked on troyer, but all I could find was SI/SO. Any help would be awesome guys.

Have a custom shop do it, it will prolly cost less than half of any catback, plus you are wanting to run true duals, no one makes a true dual setup for the f150 b/c its not a "bolt-on". Oh and you should get a x or h pipe, it will add sound and performance.

Well I didn't know that, but for $460 you can have a true dual setup. Wow thats expensive for a sideswept setup like mine, considering mine was $160

You can go to any muffler shop and have them bend you the setup you want I have the high flow cats and they run to a Magnaflow muffler part # 12198 there is a link Here to that muffler. I love the Magnaflow high flows, the sound is great. check out my video in my sig and you can check out how it sounds to see if you like it or not.

Im glad that you posted on this. Your truck is actually the reason that I decided to want to redo my exhuast lol. How much did you end up paying for the whole set up? I love the way your truck sounds.

I did mine at different times I first did my muffler, so I would say maybe $110 with install. I ran the truck like that for almost a year, I then did my high flow cats. I paid $150.00 for the high flows from performancepeddler.com and the shop charged me $160.00 to install them. If you do the high flows, call Troyer performance and talk to one of the guys there and they will give you some tips on how and where to install the cats. then all you have to do is find a shop that you can trust to do the job.

Andy, did you just purchase the muffler and have a shop custom bend the pipes for you? Also, what do you have in the way of tips?

Sorry for copying what youve done...but I just LOVE the way that truck sounds.

Yes, I just purchased the muffler from performancepeddler.com and had the muffler shop bend the pipes to come out behind the rear wheels. I think the tips are 3", slash cuts. I'm glad I was able to get the video up so people could see the improvments that the high flows make. Do the high flows you will love them.
