I cut all 4 cats off yesterday and ran tru dual staights out the back! LOUDEST POSSIBLE THING TO DO! sounds like pure crap, but is loud as all get out. lodest thing ive ever been by loder than any chevy! BUT SOUNDS LIKE CRAP! i'm putting mufflers back on. need to know the cheapest thing to do? 1.two mufflers 2.1 dual in/dual out. i want it to sound good again but not just pure racket, i've had it 2 days and drove by a house with kids outside and they stopped playing to cover there ears. want to sound good NEED TO KNOW THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO GET THEM ONLINE! mufflers.

 

i told him i wanted it so loud i couldn't hear and i got what i asked for, i made my dad and one of my friends ears ring after i told them not to sand behind it while i crunk it up... i dont want a ticket but i want it loud still, need a soltion fast. don't have more than $100 instalation and all... i love it! it's sucking gas cause the o2 sensors and blowing a flame out the end when i parking lot rev it cause the mixture is stonger now! DON"T GET ME WRONG, I LOVE IT!! it's what i wanted, but not my parents. please help.

 

I've been saying this for a couple of years - though a little more subtly than you've expressed it.

How about putting 2 high flow cats on? It probably make the truck run better.

 

2 hi flow cats and a cheap muffler from a local parts store....

 

Try two high flow cats and an X pipe and see if it sounds good to you.
If it's still to loud(I don't think it will be) then buy some small mufflers!

cherry bomb extreme mufflers at www.performancepeddler.com or dynomax bullet mufflers, probably the cheapest and smallest mufflers you can find and still be loud

 

even with mufflers its still going to be raspy as hell. Do yourself a favor and put some high flow cats on there. It will sound much better and still be loud, plus you gain some torque back

ha ha well so far ive spent one one year tour in iraq im a combat engineer and every free molment of my life im under my hood!!! my truck is under going alot of work dropped a bolt down the spark plug hole and didnt know it it did alot of damage so new piston's, rings, painting the whole engine look sweet by the way, valve's ground and head re conditioned, 24 lb fuel injectors, 2 and 1 roll bar in bed drop in bed liner, brush guard, and a true dual cherry bomb exhaust with 2 high flow cats

all funded by selling my poor harley i miss her

yeah and post a pic of that ur engine. when your in iraq do you spend alot of time welding armor plateing to the bottom of hummves. my brother was in alquamea or something like 5 miles from the syron border or somethin. he said that alot of the guys were welding some plates on there humves for them.
