Im sick of my exhaust!

I have a flowmaster super 40 with dual side exhaust, and 4" magnaflow tips. I get MEAN drone while pulling my trailer and going up hills and such. Im kind of sick of it.

I really want to get side exit before the passenger side rear tire. What would be the BEST muffler for the job?

This is what I want it to sound like:

1. Clear low/medium rumble like the hemi's

2. Minimal drone

3. Sounds good in high and low RPM's

4. NO CRACKING OR POPPING! I hate that nasty crackly straight tube exhast sound.

And if anyones interested I'll most likely sell the Flowmaster muffler and Magnaflow tips.

Either the Roush or Magnaflow.

I have the Magnaflow exit before the rear wheel and absolutely love it. Its defiantly a head turner both on looks and sound when I give it some gas (Nice, deep rumble.)

Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow. I just installed it on my 1999 5.4. It sounds great while towing, no drone at all and NO loss of low-end torque like some will lead you to believe.

Yeah I have the Magnaflow 16616 kit, it's great. It's loud when you get on it and it's quiet when you're cruising, no drone and it looks great.

Agreed. I have the 50 Series Delta Flow with dual out the back. No drone at highway cruising speeds but definitely the grumble you want when you hit the gas. I also have no, yes that means ZERO, loss of power throughout the whole RPM band, unlike what other people have said about Flowmaster.

yea i wonder if there are any experiments or anything out there that differentiate the two and how HP is effected...obviously not from flowmaster's website but some private party or even a member on the forum that would represent REAL numbers and effects
