Hey 05SilverFX4,

Thanks again for the video. Did the resonator quiet it down to a point where you like it, or do you still think it should be a little quieter? I think I may end up going with the bigger muffler.

By the way, in your video, was that with your AF1 and the Xcal too?

Thanks,

Duke

Yes, it is quiet enough now. It has good tone without being annoying at low speeds. Yes that was with the Xcal 93 octane tune and AF1, She runs good with just those mods.

Isn't a Magnaflow resonator #14416 just a 14" long round body stainless muffler?

That's what came up when I searched for that magnaflow part number.

I called Magnaflow and they referred to it as a resonator.

Hey 05SilverFX4,

Did it get rid of that moaning sound while going up slight grades a highway speeds (60-80)?

Thanks again,

Duke

Yes, that is what I had the issue with. It cut that in half. We have rolling hills here and in stop and go traffic for an hour each day, that moan was giving me a headache. Its much better now.

Sweet it will be installed for parts and labor of $100 on Tuesday next week. Then somewhere between $50-$70 to install the new tips with pipe extensions and weld the other openings that are clamped down.

I am not sure if it mentioned but.
What is that code for?
Also a dual set-up like 05SilverFX4 installed, would that get in the way with a lowered truck (3.5/5" drop)

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you talking about the code "fordtruck8"? That is a discount coupon for Hottexhaust.com.

I don't think this system on a lowered truck would be a problem.
