Gibson systems tend to be pretty quiet. If you really want it loud, go with something like a Flowmaster 40 or just glasspacks.

If you want noise, DO NOT get a Gibson. I have one and it's only barely louder than stock.

KC-10 FE out...

I like 'em loud myself, I got the 40 series Flow Master and had 24" X 5" tips. My lil 4.6 bellows like a snortin bull when I get on it. Of course, now I cant sneak around gettin into trouble cause I have the only green f150 that hollers around here...."Hmmmm who's that goin down to the swimmin hole this late at night.....Oh, gotta be Tommy, you can hear him from here"

But, from what I have read on other thread (chip and programming) I might be switchin to magna flow after I get my Troyer-when I can talk the better half into getting me that Xcal2....

if you want loud go with the straight pipes leave the cats on, and no mufflers. you will gain HP on the top end, a lot of people say you lose on the bottom end, mine didn't, but I have a 5 speed so I can rev up before I start going, but to fight the bottom end you can put a crossover like an x or an h pipe in. the x is better but for your needs the h pipe would work fine, you can get that setup done pretty cheap at your local exhaust shop.
