Thumbs up 15609 on order!!!

Well, after all of the inquiries and research over the past week, I finally broke down and placed an order for the Magnaflow 15609 with Full Line Exhaust. By far, the best deal on the 15609, $308. (drop-shipped to So. Cal.). Ray at Full-Line was very informative and responsive to all of my questions. A pleasure to work with. Ray also mentioed that this was the last week for the smokin' deal on the 15609 ($268. + shipping).

Should have it in a few days.

Can you post the number you called? I just called the main number for Full Line (1-800-467-9917) and they thought I was high asking for $268. They quoted $377 and said it had never been below $350!

1-800-264-8035 is the number I called...Ask for Ray. Ray did say that next week the price would be going up to $377. but that the $268. would be good through Friday.

Good luck and keep me posted.

Also, Ray at Full-Line confirmed that this was a brand new system drop shipping directly from magnaflow. There is no difference between the units at $268 and the units to be sold at $377., they are identical.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the other number and was quoted $331 not including shipping. I guess $268 is not meant for Texans. They too, thought I was nuts when I told them that Ray was selling them for $268 and that's what I wanted to pay(Ray was busy so I talked to another salesman). I hope Ray still has a job.

That sounds very fishy and bizarre to me. If it wasn't for the members on this site recommending Full Line, I would not have gone there to purchase. I'll keep you posted on my shipment. Let me know if you find out what the deal is.

No, I didn't write it down for some stupid reason, probably because I was getting a little frustrated at the time. I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sure you'll get your shipment just fine. They might've just had such a a run on them that they decided to end it early and everyone is acting dumb. I wish I would've ordered it at the $331 price, but I got mad and placed the order with Troyer Performance instead. That'll teach 'em!

I talked to Randy about a week and a half ago. I ordered it for 267 plus shipping which was a little more than 30 bucks. It arrived about 2 days later at my door step. I took it too a local muffler shop and they installed it for me for 35 bucks.

I was happy with how they treated me at fullline and would buy from them again.

tfleming,

I agree completely. The service thus far has been very good and I'm expecting delivery in a couple of days myself. It just seems strage.

How do you like the system? Did you go from stock to the 15609 or from another after market system?

This will be my first aftermarket exhaust system of any kind, for any vehicle. I am rather excited about getting the system and hope that my hopes are not too high after all of the positive things I've read here.

Thumbs up

I just now called and ordered my 15609. I asked for Ray and was told he was "out back" at the moment, so I told the person on the phone what I wanted and he quoted me the $331 price. So I told him I'd like to talk to Ray b/c I've had "friends" quoted lower prices. Ray got on and told me exactly what UFCJeff said, that they are $268 till Friday. He did mention though that there have been some descrepancies in price quotes so they were going to honor the $268 price even though this is really a lot cheaper than they had intended to sell it for...basically it sounds like they are breaking even.

Anyway, Ray was real easy to talk and deal with and said it should be on my doorstep by Monday.

This website is the best thing I've every come upon. You find great deals and lots of education. Thanks for the referral to fulllineexhaust everyone.

I like it. It sounds great when you start it up and when you get on it. Its not real loud. I want from stock to this system. It is louder than stock in the cab . However its not as loud in the cab as flowmaster. It sounds good. I have noticed a little better throttle response but not any gas mileage as of yet. I was thinking of getting an intake but Im not sure If I would benefit from the intake without a chip. I dont want to pay for the premium gas so Im not getting a chip.

HA! So I'm not crazy!!! ClosetRedneck, Good to hear that your persistence has paid off. It seems that both Full-Line and Troyer are reputable sources for quality product at good prices.

That figures. My extremely low tolerance level for frustration costs me $$, again.

It has arrived! Came home from work yesterday to find a giant white box in my living room. Over night delivery nonetheless direct from Car-Sound! Of course it was shipped from So cal to So cal but I was expecting two days minimum. My only regret is that I cannot have it installed until Friday.

Are Car-Sound and Magnaflow the same company?
