Linkswell Gen 2

Is anyone else having issues with their linkswell Gen 2 or linkswell t style radio in general with low power output? I have asked multiple people to include linkswell themselves they don't know how to fix this issue, has anyone else found a go around for this issue?

I think you need to explain what low power output is. You mean low power output to the speakers?

No. Low power output as in the USB ports have less then ampel power to charge any device. Plug in my phone at 80% and it says 3 hrs or more to charge full. If screen is left on and using hands free it will drain phone very fast.

Try a USB cable that is known to work to charge your phone, not all cables will charge. It's also very possible that the port *IS* low power and is not designed for charging. If it has more than one port, try the others.

I have 3 ports. I tried all and all low voltage. Also, the cable will charge perfectly with a wall adapter or batt pack.

Sounds to me like the unit itself is not designed for charging.

USB is 5 volts by definition. Do you mean low *amperage*?

Low something. It will not charge. It has enough power to hold current charge on a device when not being used, but once you use said device it's as if the device is not charging.

That's typical of data ports that are not designed for charging. USB 2.0 standard is 0.5 amps, which is not enough to charge a modern phone. USB 3.0 is 0.9 amps, wall chargers can be as high as 2.4 amps.
