door lock problem please help *resolved*

2001 f150 supercrew door locks and keyfobs quit working. doors do not lock in gear. the rap module was clicking the other day but now nothing. the panic button on the fobs doesnt work either. program mode for keyfobs does nothing, fuse under hood has voltage, fuse under steering wheel doesnt. any suggestions? i already tried replacing the rat module. does this need to be dealer programmed? all this happened after a large rainfall and my tuner cord being messed up causing my truck to not work for 2 days. help please!!

thank you

maybe a shorted/broken wire inbetween the fuse under the hood and the one under the steering wheel? just an idea to start if its not passing power

ok rechecked fuse under dash, fuse 29 and 8 are getting power. my voltmeter must have been acting up.. anyways i pulled and opened the gem and that looks good. i also swapped the relays under the oval on the dash. i took a paperclip and tried getting the locks to operate by the relays but no luck. i pulled the door panel and tested the switch and that seems good. probed the pink wires going to the actuator and didnt register 12v+ or ground signal

i also thought i seen the headlights flicker on and off the one day when i was inside the house. the locks went from working great to clicking in the gem and now nothing whatsoever from any door. It doesnt seem to change anything if the rap module is plugged in or not. everything else on the truck works

So the RAP was clicking, now it's silent. I'm going with RAP. Pop that sucker open and look inside. Please forgive my ignorance, but is the RAP the same as the CSM (Central Security Module)? I had a funky issue with one of my Expy's and I made this thread. This thing has several relays inside which control locks and lights as well as being married to the door keypad.

2001 f150 door lock problem

2001 f150 supercrew door locks and keyfobs quit working. Lock buttons inside do not work and No buttons on the fobs work including the panic button. Replaced rap module, didn't help cannot enter program mode. Also exterior keypad doesn't work or light up. Everything else works. Truck does not lock doors in gear. All happened after a heavy rain and a programming issue with my edge. Opened gem but looked ok..could this be the issue? Fuses look good but cannot find relays. Locks made clicking through rap but now make no noise. Help! Thanks
