Smoked lights? No suggestions at all. I replaced my dome and map lights with LEDs though and it was easy once I got the "fixtures" open. They are VERY hard to open up and you think you're going to break something.

Gee Jack, thats all you got for me ..? LOL ....!! I was more concerned how to get the head liner down to get to the wiring. Before i drill holes in the cab roof ....yikes! Or, if there might be a template out there for this install. And i have to get around the satallite reciever. Just little things like that!

Thanks, Pierre .....

I think Jack & Janet mistook what you were asking for, by thinking you meant smoked dome and map lights on the interior of your truck. Your are installing smoked clearence or "chicken" lights. My friend did this on his 97-03 model f150, basically we just set them down on the truck and got a pretty close estimate of where they needed to go. Did some measurments to space them how he wanted, then pulled the headliner down and got to work. I'm pretty sure he ran his wires down the a-piller and back behind the dash hooked them onto his lights.

Hopefully that can at least give you a boost to get you started.
