another led problem thread..sorry

Hey JW, I just ordered white LED Reverse lights for the tails and 3rd brake lights, am I going to have any problems like this??? I didnt get bulbs for the brake lights or anything, just LED reverse. (1 921 bulb, and 2 3156's)

I have the same problem, I got a 727 5-pin electronic flasher from O'rilley but its raining so IDK if it's going to work

Reverse lights don't cause any problem. I put them in mine and didn't have to do anything else.

Are you talking about the "Stop Light" in the third brake light? (The one behind the red lens?) If so, you MAY need a ballast resistor or the speed control may not work. Just try it and see. If the speed control works, you're golden.

But, if the light was behind the red lens, you really should have gotten a RED LED bulb. The white bulb will not be as bright. (It's counter-intuitive, but the lens is going to filter out everything but the red wavelengths, so most of the bulb illumination will be lost).
