03 F-150 7700 series fog lights???

I see behind the bumper the harness is there to hook up fog lights, but no switch or lights are there, just the wiring. Any way I could hook them up easily? Where would the switch normally be?

Usually the part that is missing on the XL, XLT trim levels is the wiring from the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel )
to the main headlamp switch.

The fog lamp switch is contained within the main headlamp switch, by pulling the headlamp **** out, while in the headlamp position ( won't pull out in park or auto positions ).

The yellow wire in the main headlamp switch can be tested to the BJB to know for sure.

Ignore the notes on the drawing, this is for the fog lamp switch modification.

Th pin outs in the fog lamp relay look like this :

Use an ohm meter to test between the switch and the CJB fog lamp relay socket, pin #1.

You can install the fog lamp fuse #9 in the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ), and jumper the relay as shown with the red line in the diagram above. This will test the wiring from the BJB to the fog lamp connectors ( usually this part works ).

Start with testing from the cab of the truck to the BJB, this stops most installs. If this part does not work, just install the factory lamps with an external relay setup like most Aux lamp kits come with, and use the connectors from the truck. This way you can power the switch to the relay with the parking lamps, and not worry about doing the modification on the fog lamp switch section of the headlamp switch ( allows the fogs to stay on with the high beams, and to be used with the parking lamps, and the auto position )
