I'm fixing this on my own dime. I think this is an issue with the seat belt buckles if I'm not mistaken.
This ia fault with passenger sida seat belt pretensioner, wiring terminals or connectors, ocs system component or rcm module. You do not state if vehicle was in an air bag deployed accident or not. The pretensioners are activated by the RCM if the safety belt is buckled(occupant or not) There are tests to need to be done. You should get a hold of a factory manual if you can as there is a system procedure to follow

No airbags deployed. The truck got water just below the glovebox. Which manual are you refering to? I have a FORD Wiring Diagrams manual, but I do not think there are trouble shooting steps for the airbag system. Thanks for the help so far. I just ordered the seat wiring and belt buckles for both sides. The floor harness and the dash harness have already been replaced. The airbag module seems to be working okay since it has done a good job throwing the codes.
It was a bad passenger side seat belt! There is a connection to the floor harness on the pillar that was bad. I went ahead and ordered new front seat belts and after the installation, the airbag system initialized perfectly.

I bought it at my local FORD dealership here in Houston. I am not sure if they ship or not. Just walked up to the counter and ordered them. A few days later, I just picked them up.
I got a 16 code airbag issue in my 2008 F150 STX regular cab, I dismounted the passenger seat, I found a cut harness, I could not find whre this came from, can somebody please share a picure of the seat ( under) or share a diagram? here is a picture that shows the cut harness. Thanks!

Hi projectSHO89, what you mean? I gave a brief explanation on my issue, airbag light is on, it flahses 16 times, based on what I investigated there is an issue on occupant clasification system, my thought is thet is about something related to that harness that is cut ( see the picture attached in last post). any idea? Thanks,
