Help HID Apexecone Help

I bought a apexecon hid 55watt kit finally got it today and tried to install the lights cam on but the high beam indicator will not go off. it is dimm and then whan i pust the lever for highs it just gets brighter. Called where i got them from they said to make a jumper wire from the other headlight that does not plug into the stock harness to the oem harness. DO you guys feel that will work or do i have somehting else mixed up. i really liked these lights and dont want to lose out on them and 13 bucks to ship them back.

Yeah, everyone says that solves the high-beam problem.

Lol, I just got mine in the mail! After looking at this kit and the diagram of our headlights, it looks like your getting a bleed into the hi beam circuit. Which causes the light to come on dimly. Check the voltage of your hi-beam wire when just the lows are on. I bet you see a little.........

You could also try plugging the factory harness directly into the ballast, not through the hi beam harness. While you won't be able to use hi beams, you can at least see if your light still comes on.

Ya well either way I know this for sure, you have to put in a ground and it will stop the hi beam light from coming on...and putting in the ground just happens to be the same mod as making ur hi beam and fogs on.
