So all ad all i am very happy finally and i will be posting pics as soon as i get a chance and my truck is cleaned up. once again thankyou all for your help. P.s they also said that my bulbs do not matter that they say 35 watt they still will burn at 55 watt.
Does the intensity of the light increase when you turn on the High beam? Does the beam pattern change?

Can you explain which 2 wires you changed around? I have a similar problem and I've heard-tell of needing to reverse the high beam wire and the ground wire at the HID harness. In the end I'm going to be switching to do a retrofit, so that the headlights are actually legal. For now, though, I'd like to be able to flip on my fog lights.

Oh, and with my truck, the low beams and high beams work fine, until I turn the fog lights on. When those come on, there seems to be a bit of a bleed to the high beams. The indicator on the dash is very dim until I flip to high beams. The indicator then comes on fully and the high beams won't shut off until I shut off the fog lights.

Hey guys. yes the beam pattern changes when flip the switch from high to low. the only time the switch does nothing is when the headlights are on and i try to use flash to pass. when it is off it works perfectly normal. i plan on contacting ddm on monday but i beleive they are going to tell me that it is how the kit is designed.

mtylerb what i had to do is change the wiring harness on the truck. does your hid kit work as normal untill you flip the fogs on? if so it looks like you have a nbs and there is a mod that you have to do to the trucks wiring for that to work out. i beleive in the begining of this forum message there is a link to what you will have to do i am not 100 percent sure the nbs guys can probably help more.

To clairfy for anyone concerned with cold weather, My flickering issue looks to be caused from the multi-function turn sig switch. Whenever that switch changes modes, the headlights will flicker untill the inside of the cab warms up. This includes tuning off the turn signals, ftp, and normal hi-beam.

To the OP, I just noticed that DDM sells different HID kits, Which is yours? Mine is the first one, the DDM slim ballast design.

When you turn on the High beams normally the low beam circuit turns off allowing the solenoid to move the bulb. All the flash to pass feature does is turn on the high beam filament in a normal bulb. It does nothing else. If your bi-xenon kit is using the low beam circuit and the FTP tries to activate the solenoid in the bulb to change its position it can't. That is what I am thinking.

It seems that after installing my kit I have a similar problem although I have a xenon low and a halogen high (which I've never seen).
my kit is a 35w ddm kit and it works really nice except that the high beam function is not present. My highbeam indicator is dim until I switch to high beam...either FTP or full on, then the indicator is bright. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

If you have a '04+ MY truck with factory fog lamps, this could be your issue.

If you have another model year, can you post the details on it ?

Looking to see what is hooked up where.

I know it's coming a little late and all but I finally resolved the high low function issue...in the little blue coupler that connects to one of the factory plugs DDM seems to have an issue with properly placing their wires. It's really pretty simple there are three prongs inside with three wires leading out the back, a black, white, and red wire. The black(ground) should be in the center and from there you just have to play with which side the white/red goes on.
I'd be glad to answer any questions about this. Thanks.
