I thought I saw a picture of the fog lights illuminated in this thread?

If the fog light indicator has not illuminated...then YES run a 12v feed line to the pin 2. I would recommend putting an inline fuse before it feeds the HL switch, so you have some circuit protection. Whatever the fog light manufacturer recommends should be sufficient. That way your switch is protected too.

 

i think yall misunderstood that picture or something cus im pretty sure theres a completely seperate light for the foglights

so i can just run any 12V line to pin 2?
and ill do the ILF

any ideas on why theyre still not working tho?

You should be able to run any fused 12V line to Pin 2 but you'll still need to run a line from Pin 5 to the relay socket pin 1.

 

i ran the line from pin 1 to pin 5 last night..

With 12V at pin 2 and pin5....when you put on the lights and fog lights (i.e. you pull out on the headlamp switch....) Do you get 3 of the lights in Post #13 as well as a 4th (mine's yellow)?

You do have your hi-beams off right?

 

yes they are on...although theyre always on, even when i dont have the fogs "on"

and only one of my hibeams work so no, i never have my hibeams on
