Any ideas for a better replacement bulb for the factory fog lights on an 01 F-150?

 

Silverstars If you want to stay legal. HIDs if you want ALOT of light.

 

Personally, I think Silverstars are alot of hype. I bought a set, changed out one side and could not tell the differece from the factory bulbs. I agree that HID would put alot fo light out there. I think you would be ok with them since they would be the fogs. However, you would like them so much you would begin to hate your halogens.

Lazarus has a set of VisionX in his that look insanely bright. Maybe he will post here. I don't remember the post he started with the pictures.

How about yellow bulbs for your foglight. Arent yellow better for fog and rain? Anyone have any experience with the Nokya yellow fog light bulbs?

I run Silverstars, but not the stock 45W one. I use the 9005 hi-beam bulb. You need to customize one of the plastic notches to get it to fit with a file, but they're a LOT brighter (65W) and only takes a couple minutes to customize.
